Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge, also known by its Japanese title Dragon Ball Z: The Incredible Mightiest vs. Mightiest (Japanese: ドラゴンボールZ とびっきりの最強対最強, Hepburn: Doragon Bōru Zetto: Tobikkiri no Saikyō tai Saikyō), or by Toei's own English title Dragon Ball Z: The Strongest Rivals, is a 1991 Japanese animescience fictionmartial arts film and the fifth Dragon Ball Z animated feature movie, originally released in Japan on July 20 at the Toei Anime Fair.
The goal of the remake is to take the first and second Legacy of Goku and combine them into one game that incorporates the improvements form Buu's fury, such as equipment, more boss abilities, and the way transformations are handled. It is also just fun practice in coding as I am both a fan of the LOG series and a computer science student.:D. Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods (Japanese: ドラゴンボールZ 神と神, Hepburn: Doragon Bōru Zetto: Kami to Kami, lit.' Dragon Ball Z: God and God') is a 2013 Japanese animated science fantasy martial arts film, the eighteenth feature film based on the Dragon Ball series, and the fourteenth to carry the Dragon Ball Z branding, released in theaters on March 30.
Plot[edit]
Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku II was released in North America by Infogrames on 17 June 2003. The plot of the game picks up where The Legacy of Goku left off, and continues until the end of the Cell Games Saga, when Gohan defeats the evil android Cell. He returns briefly in Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans as a ghost warrior created by Dr. Lychee, and makes cameo appearances in Dragon Ball GT and Fusion Reborn. He was also reappeared in Super Dragon Ball Heroes anime and manga as Goku and Vegeta quickly recognizes him that he. Jun 17, 2003 Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku II is an action/RPG developed by Webfoot Technologies and published by Atari for the Game Boy Advance. It is based on the anime Dragon Ball Z and is the sequel to Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku. The game is followed by Dragon Ball Z.
In the film, Frieza's older brother Cooler is introduced. It begins with a flashback to when Frieza destroyed the Saiyan home world, Planet Vegeta. Cooler's ship soon picks up a Saiyan space pod on the radar. The pod, carrying a baby Saiyan named Kakarot, is shown to be heading towards Earth, but Cooler's henchmen believe it is an escape. Cooler lets the ship go, accounting that it's Frieza's naïveté, and responsibility. More than twenty years later, Kakarot, eventually renamed Goku because of his adoptive new life on Earth, transforms into a Super Saiyan and defeats Frieza on Planet Namek. Despite showing no compassion towards his brother, Cooler takes his Armored Squadron - Doore, Neiz, and Salza to Earth with the intention of killing Goku in order to reclaim his family's honor. His forces ambush Goku and his friends on a camping trip, and Goku is wounded when he takes a blast from Cooler that was intended for Gohan (who has his regrown Saiyan tail).
After Krillin and Oolong sets up a shelter in a cave with Goku, Gohan flies off on his dragon friend Icarus to obtain Senzu Beans from Korin. After obtaining the beans, Gohan restores the now-exhausted Icarus by feeding him one bean, and they both fly in high speed. But then, they are ambushed by Cooler's henchmen who blast down Icarus and give Gohan a beating. Just as Gohan about to be killed by Doore, the monkey-tailed boy is saved by Piccolo, the Namekian of Earth, and Gohan's mentor. Piccolo dispatches Doore and Neiz, and takes on Salza, easily gaining the upper hand. During the battle, Cooler arrives and catches Piccolo off-guard with a Death Beam, which impales him through the chest but does not kill him. Cooler then sends Salza after Gohan as he continues to blast Piccolo. Gohan gets to the cave with the Senzu Beans, but they are destroyed by Salza. However, he heals Goku with a spare bean that Yajirobe gave him earlier. After Krillin and Gohan are beaten down by Salza, Goku appears fully healed. Cooler shows up, holding onto an unconscious Piccolo. He then blasts Piccolo's body with an unexpected attack as Goku watches in horror. Now angered, Goku blasts Salza into the distance, and begins to fight Cooler.
After Goku proves to be a worthy opponent, Cooler and tells of his bleak history with Frieza. He then reveals his final transformation, one that Frieza never showed or achieved, and this one is far more powerful than Frieza's final form. Now at full power, Cooler pummels Goku around effortlessly, despite Goku using the Kaioken attack numerous times. Cooler then proceeds to destroy the landscape. However, after seeing a bird die from wounds inflicted by damage caused during the struggle, Goku thinks back on his friends and family, and how they all will be killed if Cooler wins. He then picks up the dead bird and lets out a yell so powerful it cracks solid stone and draws Cooler's attention, transforming into his Super Saiyan form and giving enough of his energy to revive the bird. Cooler then finds himself, like Frieza was, grossly outclassed by Goku's amazing new powers. After attempting to punch and blast the Super Saiyan with no effect, Cooler summons a trump card when he powers up an enormous ball of energy. Cooler launches the attack with hopes to destroy Goku and the Earth along with him. After a stint of struggling, Goku eventually manages to send it back with the Kamehameha wave, forcing Cooler off the Earth into space and towards the sun. As he hits the sun's surface, Cooler realises that Goku was the same Saiyan infant he spared decades ago. Cooler then laments his own lost opportunity to shoot Goku's escape pod down when he was a baby, and concedes that he was too soft for his own good as well. Cooler's body is then seemingly disintegrated by the sun and his own energy blast.
Goku, drained after his battle, is found by Krillin, Gohan, Oolong and Icarus. They are looking for Piccolo when Salza reappears and prepares to kill them all. However, before he can attack, Salza, the last of Cooler's Armored Squadron, is killed by Piccolo's 'Special Beam Cannon' from a distance. Gohan looks around for Piccolo, and the movie ends with Piccolo, having recovered, gazing skyward after drinking some water.
New characters[edit]
Cooler[edit]
Cooler (クウラ, Kūra) is the brother of Frieza who travels to Earth to seek revenge against Goku for Frieza's death, not to avenge his brother, but for vengeance for the slight against his family. Despite transforming into his final form, he is defeated by Super Saiyan Goku. He returns in the sequel, The Return of Cooler, his remains having fused with a sentient computer chip to form the Big Gete Star. He invades New Namek to fuel himself, but is foiled once again and destroyed once and for all by Goku and Vegeta. He returns briefly in Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans as a ghost warrior created by Dr. Lychee, and makes cameo appearances in Dragon Ball GT and Fusion Reborn. He was also reappeared in Super Dragon Ball Heroes anime and manga as Goku and Vegeta quickly recognizes him that he was destroyed in the second movie. He is voiced by Ryūsei Nakao (who also voiced Frieza) in Japanese, and by Andrew Chandler in the English dub.
Cooler's Armored Squadron[edit]
Like the mercenary Ginyu Force (right down to the posing) called upon by Frieza on Planet Namek, Cooler's Armored Squadron (クウラ機甲戦隊, Kūra Kikō Sentai) composes the elder brother's own special fighting team. These three warriors serve as Cooler's subordinates throughout the course of the film. Their dress is the customary garb of soldiers in Frieza's military; an extended length of armor juts from their left shoulder, while the uniforms themselves are in Cooler's primary colors of purple and white, they are shown to have a habit of blocking or reflecting Ki Blasts rather than dodging them. The team is made up of Cooler's right-hand man Sauzer (サウザー, Sauzā, known as Salza in Funimation's English dub), a blue skinned 'pretty-boy' commander with blonde hair and a French accent, who is able to slice through objects using a blade of ki formed in his right hand and very similar to Zarbon in appearance; Naise (ネイズ, Neizu, known as Neiz in Funimation's English dub), an amphibian-like tall, brown reptilian creature who can retract the whole of his head into his body, who can fire an electrical attack that can immobilize his opponents; and Doore (ドーレ, Dōre), who is large, green-skinned and long-haired, never seen without his helmet. The henchmen's names are derived from puns; in this case, it is condiments and salad dressings. All three are killed by Piccolo, who obliterates Doore with a Ki blast, burns Neiz alive with his own attack, and impales Salza with the Special Beam Cannon. Salza and Doore cameo in Fusion Reborn.

Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn, known in Japan as Dragon Ball Z Fukkatsu no Fusion!! Goku to Vegeta (ドラゴンボールZ 復活のフュージョン!!悟空とベジータ, 'The Rebirth of Fusion!! Goku and Vegeta'), is a 1995 Japanese animatedfantasymartial arts film and the 12th film in the Dragon Ball Z series. It was originally released in Japan on March 4 at Toei Anime Fair, and dubbed into English by Funimation in 2006.
Plot[edit]
In the Other World, a teenage 'oni' guarding a spirit cleansing machine turns the volume of his walkman up so loud that he fails to change the evil essence tank when necessary. Due to the overload of evil essence, the machine explodes and the 'oni' is transformed into a huge-childlike monster with power over the laws regarding the worlds of the living and the dead. As a result, both worlds are thrown into chaos: in the living world, several deceased are brought back to life, while in the other world, beings who were allowed to keep their bodies turn into spirits, and vice versa.
While fighting in the final of another Other World Tournament, Goku and Pikkon are interrupted by the appearance of a crystal-like substance all over the place, and are sent to see to the disturbance. They find the Check-In Station and most of the Other World encased in crystal-like jelly beans which are immune to their energy attacks. From inside the station, King Yemma directs them to the culprit, sitting on the roof. The monster, who is unable to say anything other than its own name, Janemba, refuses to put the barrier back after Pikkon insists. Goku decides to lure Janemba down to Hell to fight him while Pikkon tries to free King Yemma.
Earth comes under siege by an array of villains and zombies, one of them a comical parody of Adolf Hitler and his Wehrmacht, as well as an army of deceased past villains led by Frieza. Gohan makes quick work of Frieza, causing the villains to scatter. During the fray, Goten and Trunks gather the Dragon Balls, summon Shenron and ask him to put the barrier between the living and deceased worlds back up, but Shenron claims that he cannot grant the wish since only King Yemma has that kind of power. In Hell, Goku and Janemba engage in a game-like fight, with Janemba taking the upper hand against Goku. Goku realizes that despite Janemba likely not meaning any real harm, he is nevertheless a danger to both worlds, and powers up to Super Saiyan 3. In his new form, Goku dominates Janemba and literally smashes his head in, but Janemba merely transforms into a much smaller but more powerful and sinister form and again takes the upper hand, almost killing Goku, but a deceased Vegeta, having regained his physical body, arrives in time to help. Both Goku and Vegeta are no match for Janemba and are forced to hide. Goku proposes fusion, but Vegeta refuses to join bodies with Goku, given his pride.
Meanwhile, back on Earth, most of the villains are defeated. Pikkon continues to try to free King Yemma, but to no avail, and in his anger, insults the crystal substance, causing it to crack. But even Pikkon's worst insults cause the crystal to crack only slightly, and he eventually gives up and rushes to aid Goku and Vegeta. After much persuasion, Vegeta agrees to fuse with Goku via the fusion dance, but Vegeta fails to extend his forefinger at the last minute and the fusion fails, resulting in a weak, obese 'fighter' named Veku. Janemba beats Veku severely and almost kills him, but the fusion wears off and Goku and Vegeta escape in time. Pikkon arrives to stall Janemba while Goku and Vegeta try the fusion again, this time successfully performing the ultimate fusion into Gogeta. Meanwhile on Earth, Goten and Trunks sense that their fathers have fused, and decide to fuse themselves into Gotenks to help rid the world of the undead. Dragon ball z legacy of goku ost. Gogeta swiftly gains the advantage over Janemba. But rather than kill him, he uses his power to cleanse Janemba of all evil inside him, reverting him to his teenage 'oni' form, who runs away from Gogeta in horror.
With Janemba gone, his hold over the Multiverse disappears and the deceased return to the Afterlife. After sharing a good-natured farewell with Goku, Vegeta reverts to spirit form and disappears. While flying home, Goten and Trunks tell Gohan and Videl that they know who closed the barrier between the living and dead, but won't tell who it is (the English dub changes this to Goten and Trunks teasing Gohan and Videl after having watched them kissing earlier on). The film comes to an end with the still-summoned Shenron, asking if anyone wants to make a wish.
New characters[edit]
Janemba[edit]
Janemba (ジャネンバ, Janenba) is the main villain in the film Fusion Reborn. He is a demon of pure evil, spawned through an accident at the Other World check-in station when a worker ogre caused the spirit cleanser to overload. Janemba's first form (known as Janempa in the English dub) is a giant, yellow, and repugnant demon with a very playful and innocent demeanor. In this form, he does not know any other words other than his own name, which he repeats. Fat Janemba displays many unique abilities; such as opening portals, creating doppelgangers, and firing ki blasts through the pores on his stomach. Despite his power he transformed when Goku more than stood a chance against him when he was Super Saiyan 3. Janemba's second form is about human size (though very tall), has red skin covered by violet armor, and his voice is deeper and more demonic. In this form he doesn't speak at all, but laughs maniacally and is built for fighting. Like his previous state, he has many unique abilities like teleportation, being able to destroy the fabric of interdimensional gates (which break off into little glass pieces that target his enemy), and can generate a sword. This Janemba was too much of a match for Goku and even Vegeta upon arriving to help him. Goku and Vegeta then fuse into Gogeta, who puts up more than a fair fight, and defeats Janemba, and is restored back to the little ogre boy whose body was taken over by him. Janemba has since appeared in the video games as well as in several other Dragon Ball media.
Gogeta[edit]
Gogeta (ゴジータ, Gojīta) is the fusion of Goku and Vegeta who first appeared first in the twelfth Dragon Ball Z film Fusion Reborn through the Metamoran fusion dance. Like most other warriors formed via the fusion dance, Gogeta wears the traditional Metamoran attire and always appears as a Super Saiyan. In the film, Gogeta is formed by Goku and a reluctant Vegeta after realizing they are no match for the demon Janemba separately. However, the Saiyans' initial attempt at the fusion dance would fail due to Vegeta's uneven finger positions, resulting in a fat warrior dubbed 'Veku' by the South Kai. Once they are able to perform the dance properly, Gogeta quickly overpowers Janemba. Gogeta would later appear again in Dragon Ball GT as a Super Saiyan 4 to battle the final Shadow Dragon: Omega Shenron. In this form, he sports unruly, shoulder-length red hair and reddish-brown fur covering his torso. Unlike his film counterpart, this version of Gogeta is much more childish and arrogant, seen through his constant teasing and taunting of Omega Shenron. Though being significantly more powerful than the Shadow Dragon, Gogeta is unable to defeat Omega Shenron due to him defusing much sooner than expected. Gogeta appears in his first canonical appearance, in the latest movie Dragon Ball Super: Broly in his base form, Super Saiyan, and Super Saiyan Blue to take on Broly.
